Global Game Jam is not a competition by its nature, but there are couple of competitions going on. We also want to pick couple of favorites and hand out a prize or two.
Finnish Game Jam is giving prizes in three categories: Best Game, Jammers Favorite, and Best Silverlight Game. Best Game and Best Silverlight Game are chosen by a national jury with two judges in each location:

Jammers favorite will be chosen by participants. All jamming participants have one vote. You have time until Tuesday 2.2.2010 9:00 to use your vote to select amongst ALL Finnish games. Voting system will be opened today at 17:00.

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.
